    • Chairman of Pacific Bay Minerals Ltd. (www.pacificbayminerals.com) & Editor and Publisher of The New Westminster Times (www.newwesttimes.com).  With a background in finance and entrepreneurship (BA, UBC, MBA, SFU), David’s diverse experience includes financing and running a gold mine in Northern BC, formerly leading Inovent Capital Inc. (now Inomin Mines) , founding a collaboration and ecommerce software company Knexa Solutions Ltd., acquiring and running a software company with municipal customers across North America, and funding and managing a mineral exploration company with activities in BC, Yukon, Quebec, South America, Africa and the USA. David has taught New Venture Finance at the MBA level, is a frequent mentor in the SFU Mentors in Business Program, has been a mentor to technology start-ups in SFU’s Venture Connection, and has published academic papers in the field of Knowledge Management. He is recognized globally as an expert in the field of Intellectual Capital, and formerly sat on the Editorial Advisory Board of the international Journal of Intellectual Capital. In his community of New Westminster BC, David was the 2017 President of the Hyack Festival Association (2017 Theme: First Nations. First Cities. Telling Our Story. Together.)  David is an avid cyclist, guitarist and hockey player.
